Your posing suit needs to enhance your physique. An
improper suit can easily knock a competitor down several
notches.
Routine Suit

The routine suit should be comfortable, flattering (but not distracting), appropriate to your theme and figure, and it
should stay in place! Don't reveal too much; that's taken care of in the physique round. . Make sure, as well, that
you run through your routine at least once with your costume on, ahead of competition day. Your movement should
not be restricted at all, and you shouldn't have to worry about anything shifting out of place.

Two-piece Suit

Your bikini should be midriff-baring, flattering, and highlight your best features, providing coverage for about half
your buttocks (thongs are usually expressly forbidden). A suit stick product (Bikini Bite by Performance Brands is
our pick) may be necessary to hold it in place while you walk and perform your quarter turns.  Make sure you can
add gel inserts or padding if necessary, but support can be important if you are big-busted. Stretch velvets show up
beautifully on stage, and extra beading and rhinestones make sure that you're not lost in a crowd. Make sure your
suit compliments your coloring and contrasts with your skin (i.e.. a light-colored suit requires a dark tan).

One-Piece Suit

(Optional, dependent on the show) The one-piece suit must provide full coverage of the midriff and half coverage of
the buttocks. Look for styles that are cut lower at the back and higher in the legs

Remember the goal is to show off the physique. Not the suit. Speaking of suits it's a good idea to have
an extra one because it's not uncommon to get oil on your suit sometime throughout the posing.
Posing Suit Suggestions
Teaz Fashions & Designs

The first consideration is cut. A good rule of thumb is to use
higher cut suits for thicker waisted individuals and lower cut suits
for you smaller waisted people.

Color is the second consideration. Chose a color, preferably a
darker tone, which blends well with your skin and hair coloring.

If you aren't sure, follow the color chart below for some
excellent suggestions
. Lighter colors tend to stain easily from
tanning and oiling products, and may contrast too much with the
darker tans, drawing more attention to the suit rather than the
physique.
